The Department of Mechanical Engineering is dedicated to providing mechanical engineering education that leads to well-qualified engineers who are innovative, immediate contributors to their profession, and successful in advanced studies.
Apart from the regular curriculum prescribed by the University, the Mechanical Engineering Department has developed a unique ‘Skill Training for Employability Programme’ (STEP) to benefit students regarding the latest design and analysis software and bridge the gap between industry expectations and student capabilities.
